Stefan Hertogs

Stefan has 24 years of experience in Mid-Market M&A transactions and has realized transactions in both traditional sectors and technology companies. These are often deals in an international context where he collaborates with members of the international network M&A Worldwide. 

Recent deals include the sale of Bizztalent to Planet Group, the sale of Philippe Jans to the Austrian Klinger Group, the sale of IM Associates to the listed IQVIA and the sale of Technics & Applications to Waterland. 

Before co-founding Omnicap in 2013, he was a Partner at Deminor and Corporate Finance consultant at Winx Capital House. 

He graduated in 1997 with a master's degree in Applied Economics from the University of Antwerp and is a recognized Family Business Advisor at the Institute for Family Business (2012). For several years he was a director of the Belgian Corporate Finance Association, of which he was also Vice-Chairman and Chairman.

Jan Bleyen

With over 20 years of experience, Jan has successfully advised on dozens of buy and sell side M&A transactions across a variety of industries such as Business Services, Industrials and Software. Jan has helped numerous (family) companies by combining strategic advice with smart deal making capabilities. Jan has a hands-on deal execution style and has ample experience in cross-border deals and complex corporate governance situations.

Recently completed transactions include the sale of Syntegro (to Visma), the sale of Mexico Natie (to Katoen Natie), the sale of Hillewaere (to Rotschild & Co), the investment of 30% stake in Van de Velde group (by BNP Paris Fortis PE), the investment of 51% stake in Sofico (by Ergon Capital) and the sale of Banqup (to Unifiedpost).

Before co-founding Omnicap, Jan was a partner at Deminor. Previously, he started his career at PwC.

He holds a law degree from the University of Antwerp, an LLM in European Law (Panthéon-Sorbonne, Paris) and a degree of Corporate Finance from the University of Leuven.
